About Dianna Tangen
In 1992 I quit my job, sold my house, and moved to Arizona. I had lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 25 years. My criteria when moving was: enough land to have a horse, a town small enough to have a sense of community, large enough to have all the necessary amenities, high enough off the desert floor that I wouldn't roast during the summer but low enough that I wouldn't have to shovel snow in the winter. Wickenburg met all of my needs. It turned out to be the best move of my life!
In California I made my living in accounting. A graduate of Holy Names College in Oakland, California, I have two bachelor degrees: one in accounting and one in Humanistic Studies. Over the years I have waited on tables, been a business manager of a new car dealership, a controller of a container distributorship, and worked in the accounting department of a government facility. All of these jobs paid the bills, but none of them lived up to my expectations. My childhood dream had always been to raise race horses. When I moved to Arizona I worked the front desk at a dude ranch, operated my own trail riding business (No Fences on Moonlight Mesa) and finally went to Real Estate School to become a REALTOR. My career in Real Estate has allowed me to finally realize my childhood dreams. It has also given me the opportunity to help others moving to Arizona to find their dream home and achieve their dreams.
Although I sell all types and sizes of properties, my specialty is horse properties. As a horse owner myself, I understand the needs and wants of horse owners moving into the area. I also understand that Real Estate is a service industry. I am at my clients service. I answer my cell phone days, evenings, and weekends. When I am home I transfer my cell phone there so I won't miss calls. If I don't answer it is because I am out of the service area and I will return the call as soon as I return. This philosophy has stood me in good stead and in 2005 I was 3rd in the nation with United Country Realty with closed sales of over 19 million dollars.
